Acres of Mercy operates Msingi Bora Learning Centre, a learning centre that provides Early Childhood and lower primary education to vulnerable children.

Vision: To give children a foundation on which to build their lives
Mission: To provide spiritual and faith formation, health and nutrition interventions, education, skill and talent development to enable vulnerable children develop the capacity to live out to their potential in light of the Word of God
Acres of Mercy’s Definition of Vulnerable Children – Orphans, children from single parent led families, children from families with absentee parents, children from homes with abusive parents, children exposed to families engaging in selling illicit brews, children from very poor families with incomes of less than 1 dollar a day.

Adult Literacy Programs-
We are promoting adult literacy as a way of encouraging parent involvement in their children’s education. Most of the parents we work with have poor educational backgrounds and this affects their understanding of the importance of education to the well being of our community.
- Training the parents to train their children in basic reading and writing skills
- Offer them an opportunity to continue their formal education through the government sponsored Adult literacy program
